Adam Abel
“It was challenging in that I had work to do, but thankfully my professors were understanding and allowed me to do what I was ultimately going to be doing for a career,” Abel said. “There were enough opportunities that I was able to find the classes I needed at convenient times for me. I specifically transferred from BYU to UVSC because of this.” Since graduation, Abel has started his own production company, GoFilms, with Ryan Little, director of “Saints.” The company is awaiting the premiere of its second movie, “Outlaw Trail,” at the Heartland Film Festival this fall. In addition, filming recently finished for their third movie, “Forever Strong,” starring formidable actors like Sean Astin, Gary Cole and Sean Faris. With three films under his belt and more on the horizon, one would think Abel’s next move would be straight to L.A. “Ryan and I prefer to stay here and raise our families,” he said. “We’ll bring Hollywood to Utah.” |
