Utah Valley State College now offers 57 bachelor degree programs. The Utah State Board of Regents recently approved a new Bachelor of Science degree in Dental Hygiene, adding yet another degree to the College’s expanding catalogue.
The degree will be part of the existing Department of Dental Hygiene, which is part of UVSC’s School of Science and Health, and will be offered in addition to the already successful Associate of Applied Science degree.
The degree was first proposed in spring of 2007, and was approved by UVSC’s Board of Trustees in October. The approval from the Board of Regents is the final step in making the new program official.
UVSC’s Bachelor of Science degree in Dental Hygiene will be offered beginning fall semester of 2008.
