Community Education Summer Classes Offered Through UVSC

Noncredit community education classes will be offered through the School of Continuing Education at several locations throughout the community. Starting June 9 classes will begin at Wasatch. Classes are offered in a variety of areas including general education, vocational and recreational.

Continuing Education Units (CEUs) are available for many of the courses. The classes are developed with the needs of the community in mind. Seasonal classes and activities are provided in the fall, winter, spring and summer.

“This summer there are a lot of fun classes to sign up for to keep the kids busy,” said Sally Menefee, registration assistant for continuing education. “You are urged to register before May 5 to save $5 per class. Classes are for anyone age two to 100. We even offer some great classes such as photography and landscaping to capture the beautiful scenery and to get outside.”

Most noncredit community education classes are advertised in the Discover brochure published by the School of Continuing Education prior to the beginning of each term. This brochure is distributed throughout the community. To receive it, you may subscribe to our mailing list online, call (801) 863-8011 or visit www.uvsc.edu/conted/commed for more information.
