High school and transfer students interested in attending UVSC are invited to attend UV “You” Days—an event that features UVSC departments and gives students the opportunity to learn more about UVSC.
UVSC’s Department of Music, Department of History and Department of Political Science will all be featured in the upcoming event January 26. The event begins at 10 a.m. and ends at 2 p.m. and will be held at Centre Stage in the Sorenson Student Center at UVSC.
“UV ‘You’ Days provide potential students with the opportunity to connect with faculty, staff and administrators within their individual areas of interest,” said J.P. Spagnolo, assistant director of prospective student services at UVSC. “During these events, prospective students and their families receive valuable information regarding their future major, admissions, financial aid and scholarships. Our intent in hosting these events is to assist individuals who are thinking about attending college by providing them relevant information and showing them the best that UVSC has to offer.”
Those interested in attending the event need to register beforehand. The event is free and open to the public. For more information, or to register for the event, call (801) 863-6751.
