UVSC Launches Student "Giving of the Green" Campaign

UVSC students have a chance to have their “legacy set in stone” as part of UVSC’s third annual “Giving of the Green” student donation campaign, happening March 17- 20. Students can donate $50 to have their names put on a plaque that will be displayed outside the new library building. The $50 donations will be matched by a friend of the institution to equal a total of $200 for each donation.

“This year’s campaign gives students the chance to contribute to the library,” said Jeri Allphin, director of alumni relations at UVSC. “By donating, they can be a part of this exciting addition to our campus.”

Students may make donations in person in the form of cash, check, credit or debit card at any of the five tables that will be set up around campus between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. or at Campus Connection, located in the Sorensen Student Center. They can also donate online at http://www.uvsc.edu/giving.
