UVSC’s School of Business is holding an executive lecture series, where every Thursday at noon a business professional will speak to students and members of the community about their successes and endeavors in the business world.
The series happens every semester at UVSC, and is a required course for students in the business program.
On September 6 Patrick Milligan, Regional VP of Kraft Foods Global, will be speaking in the Ragan Theater at noon.
Mr. Milligan has more than 15 years experience managing sales, marketing, operations, personnel and merchandising at the district, division and regional levels.
Mr. Milligan graduated from the University of Utah with a Bachelor of Science in Business Management. He was named top R.O.T.C. student and distinguished military graduate. In 2000 he graduated from the Command and General Staff College, Fort Leavenworth, Kansas.
“The lecture series is great for students. It gives them the opportunity to learn about the business world from experienced professionals who will share their secrets of success, their successful experiences and failures in the workplace, and provide a level of understanding that is not available from a textbook,” said Ian Wilson, the Reed and Christine Halladay Professor responsible for the lecture series. “It’s also a great way to introduce these individuals to the Business School, and College.”
