President of Alexander’s Print Advantage to Speak at Business Lecture Series

For the past six years, prestigious leaders, government officials and entrepreneurs have spoken as guests of the Halladay Executive Lecture Series at Utah Valley State College.

Jeff Alexander, President of Alexander’s Print Advantage and majority leader in the Utah House of Representatives will speak as part of the series November 3 at 12 p.m. in the Ragan Theater.

Alexander graduated from Brigham Young University in 1978 with a degree in public relations and organizational communications. He opened Alexander’s Print Shop in 1979 with one pallet of paper and one Xerox machine. Since then, Alexander’s Print Advantage has been one of the fastest growing digital printing companies in the intermountain west and was awarded business of the year by the Provo/Orem Chamber of Commerce.

Students enrolled with the UVSC School of Business are required to attend the lecture series for one semester in order to graduate. “The lecture series is often mentioned by graduating students as one of their best courses while at UVSC,” said Doug Miller, department chair of Business Management. “In turn, the leaders who come speak at the lecture series learn first hand about the quality of students at UVSC.”
