The Farley Family Christmas to be Performed at UVSC

For many Utah County residents, “The Farley Family Christmas” has become a holiday tradition. This year, Utah Valley State College Assistant Professor in the Department of Theatrical Arts for Stage and Screen, James Arrington will perform “The Farley Family Christmas,” December 10, 12, 15, 16 and 17 at 7:30 p.m. in the Ragan Theater.

Arrington is the creator, director and performer of the one-man show and has performed “The Farley Family Christmas” for the past ten years in various locations. The audience will be playing the part of the family while Arrington plays the part of certain members that are commonly found in families. The show is 100 percent improvisation.

“This show makes fun of silly things that happen around this time of the year,” said Arrington. “This is a great opportunity for people to laugh and watch me play the part of those funny family members we all have.”

“The Farley Family Christmas” has become a Christmas tradition for many families. People come from all over the state and the region to let loose and enjoy the comedy of Arrington. “Laughter never felt so good,” said Arrington. “This show is for people of all ages, from 6 to 90 years old.”

Tickets can be purchased at Campus Connection (801) 863-8797 and are $6 for UVSC students, $8 for children, senior citizens and other students and $10 for general admission. For more information contact James Arrington at (801) 863-7157.
