Ambassador of Mongolia to Speak at UVSC
Ambassador of Mongolia to the United States, His Excellency Ravdam Bold, will speak at Utah Valley State College May 9 at 10:15 a.m. in LA 101. He will speak on Mongolia’s past and present. The lecture, “Mongolia Today,” is open and free to the public.
Bold became Mongolia’s ambassador in February 2003. He has previously served as executive secretary of the National Security Council of Mongolia, adviser to the Parliament and director of the Institute of Strategic Studies and deputy director of the Mongolian Central Intelligence Agency. He also held various posts in the Institute of Strategic Studies, the Ministry of Defense, the Embassy of Mongolia in Japan and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Ambassador Bold attended the Military Institute in Ulaanbaatar, the Military Diplomatic School in Moscow, and the Defense Resources Management Training of Naval Postgraduate School in the United States. Bold and his wife, Mijiddorjoyuun Bold, have two children.
