UVSC Announces New Members of Foundation Board
Beginning November 10, the Foundation Board at Utah Valley State College will welcome four new members. Paul Clyde, executive vice president and COO of Clyde Companies Inc., Mary Morris, former owner of Morris Motors, Howard Edwards, retired corporate lawyer and Michelle Scott, vice president of people development and human resources at Certiport, join the 19 board members already serving.
“We chose these individuals because of their distinguished service in the community, their leadership experience and the expertise they could bring in helping the board achieve its objectives,” said Ian Wilson, UVSC vice president of institutional advancement and marketing. “They will provide an important connection between the College and the surrounding community.”
Formed in 1981, the UVSC Foundation Board acts as a private, nonprofit corporation that receives and administers private gifts used to create quality programs and assist students. Members are responsible for the oversight of the UVSC endowment, fundraising for the College and for outreach to the community.
