UVSC Student Becomes State DEX President
Kevin C. Allred, of Utah Valley State College, is the new Delta Epsilon Chi (DEX) state president for 2005-2006. DEX is a national organization for college students preparing for a variety of career areas, with specific emphasis on the areas of marketing management, merchandising and entrepreneurship
Allred, from Pleasant Grove, Utah, is a business management major, whose occupational goal is to become a medical doctor and serve in third world countries.
Currently, Allred is a recreational therapist and director at a care center for disabled boys. He serves in organizations in the community including the Red Cross, where he broke the record for receiving the most blood donations for the recent tsunami relief efforts.
"I am looking forward to serving in this capacity," said Allred. "DEX is a great organization that helps students with the skills they need for their careers."
