Feb. 16, 2005: Public hearing to discuss UVSC second-tier tuition increase for fall semester 2005, noon, Centre Stage in the Sorensen Student Center. All concerned students and citizens are invited to attend.
Utah Valley State College is proposing to increase student tuition rates beyond the 2005-2006 first-tier tuition increase for the Utah System of Higher Education set by the Utah State Board of Regents.
UVSC's proposed second-tier increase per semester would be as follows:
• Resident tuition increase of 5 to 8% or $59 to $95
• Non-resident tuition increase of 5 to 8% or $208 to $322
(Dollar figures reflect the increase for students taking a full-time class load of 12 to 18 credit hours)
