AVC Department Presents Student Art Exhibit at UVSC

The Utah Valley State College Art and Visual Communications Department (AVC) presents an art exhibit for Alison Bolen, a UVSC student graduating this December with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree. The exhibit is now open and will be available for students, faculty and staff and community members until December 16. The exhibit is located on the fourth floor of the Gunther Technology building in gallery 401 and will be open all day until the building closes.

The theme of the exhibit is “Frailty of Dreams” and will display eight of Bolen’s pieces which are abstractions based on landscape.

“Bolen is a very talented student. Her art pieces are a form of communication to an audience,” said Catherine Downy, assistant professor in AVC. “This exhibit is very significant for UVSC and AVC because it is the first of many Bachelor of Fine Art senior exhibits.”
