Successful Business Venture Capitalist to Speak to Students

Jason Petersen, founder and president of Accelera Business Corporation, will be the featured speaker at the Utah Valley State College Collegiate Entrepreneurs Organization (CEO) Club, Wednesday, March 16, at 7:30 p.m. in the UVSC Liberal Arts Building LA 101. His presentation is titled “From Starving Student to Successful Entrepreneur.”

Petersen has a successful career in marketing, sales and venture capitalism. He has been involved in numerous business growth projects including Chevrolet Motors, Zions Bank and Dominos Pizza.

In addition to his corporation, he is co-founder of the ABI Institute, owner of Hansen Lighting and co-founder and contributing author to Business Insider Newsletter.

Petersen graduated Summa Cum Laude with degrees in computer information systems and economics from Brigham Young University Hawaii, and a business management degree from Brigham Young University Idaho.
