One Stop Shop open at UVSC
Utah Valley State College’s new approach student services, One Stop Shop, is now open and offering students a variety of services all in one location. This is a permanent feature that will serve students throughout the school year. The Browning Administration building has been transformed, eliminating long lines and inaccessible staff for students.
One Stop Shop offers services such as admissions and registration information, records and basic financial aid including the ability to check financial status and receive documentation. They are also able to accept tuition and fee payments and distribute parking pass to students all while talking to one person, in one place, at one time.
“We’re hoping the One Stop Shop will serve students better by being more open and inviting for them,” said Liz Childs, UVSC Admissions Director, “Also, the convenience of so many services in one location will save them time so they can make one stop and then go to their classes.”
One Stop Shop is open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Mon, Thu and Fri and from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Tue and Wed and located in the Browning Administration building on the main floor.
