Jason Hewlett the Entertainer comes to UVSC

Utah Valley State College’s Performing Arts Series presents Jason Hewlett, the Entertainer onstage October 12 at 7:30 p.m. in the Ragan Theater. The 27-year-old Salt Lake City comedian, impersonator and musician is expected to captivate UVSC audiences like he has in Las Vegas, Myrtle Beach and Valley Forge.

Hewlett started his own one-man show in 2002, one year into his national act on “Legends In Concert.” Hewlett’s performances include impressions of legendaries like Elton John, Ricky Martin, Jim Carey and Michael Jackson.

UVSC School of Humanities, Arts and Social Sciences (HASS) established the Performing Arts Series to raise scholarship funds for students in the performing arts. At least three students have benefited from the scholarship this year. The show is expected to raise up to $1,500 for more scholarships.

Hewlett’s one-man show is a great event for the entire family. HASS Associate Dean Bill Bridges said that Hewlett is a full-spectrum entertainer with a good reputation. The Performing Arts Series will feature great talent like Hewlett in every art genre this academic year.
