UVSC to Host Community Forums
Utah Valley State College President William A. Sederburg invites community members to share their input for the direction of UVSC as part of the second annual Board of Trustees Community Forum Tuesday July 19 at 7 p.m. at the UVSC Wasatch Campus (3111 North College Way, Heber) or Thursday July 21 at 7 p.m. at the Orem City Council Chambers (56 North State Street, Orem).
The Board of Trustees will present six strategic directions that will guide the planning and budgeting process for the next fiscal year. The strategic directions include the same five presented last year plus 12 additional bullet points added by the community and one more strategic direction. In fall 2005, every entity on campus will give a report of how they helped meet last years’ goals with the resources they were given and how they will fulfill the strategic directions this year.
“We as an institution are adamantly dedicated to meet the higher educational needs of the community,” said Cameron Martin, assistant to the president at UVSC. “We are intently interested in feedback from our community.”
