UVSC to Host High School Students and Parents at UV You Days

The UVSC Enrollment Marketing Department will host high school junior and senior students and their parents on select Saturdays throughout the year to attend an informative event about each UVSC school.

The first UV You Day will be October 29 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. for potential students interested in the School of Technology and Computing. Students and parents will meet in the Grande Ballroom in the Sorensen Center. Potential students and their parents will have breakfast then attend a general session regarding admissions, financial aid and other important information about their areas of interest. The dean of the school, alumni and current students will address participants about their own experience at UVSC. Lunch will also be served and students and parents will be given a tour of UVSC.

“UV You Days are important to potential students because this is the only time and place they can get all of their questions answered by experts in the specific departments,” said Michael Snapp, coordinator of UV You Days. “This kind of information is critical to students as they decide on a major and which college to attend. There is no other day like this at UVSC.”
