Synergy Dance Company to Perform “LIVE”
The Utah Valley State College Department of Dance will present Synergy Dance “LIVE” November 17-19 in the Ragan Theater at 7:30 p.m.
The concert features imaginative new choreography created by faculty members as well as students from the UVSC dance department. The performance will offer a broad palette of textures, tones and movement, from humorous and high-spirited to introspective and thought provoking. It is an evening of dance for audiences of all ages.
“Synergy Dance ‘LIVE’ offers a window into the fine work that goes on day and night in the UVSC Dance Department,” said Kathie Debenham, associate dean for academics and professor of dance. “This concert will offer the audience a chance to ‘dance in their seats’ with the dancers and to consider their own responses to the world.”
Tickets can be purchased for the concert at Campus Connection in the Sorensen Center (801-863-8797). Cost is $6 for students, faculty and staff and $7 for general public. For more information contact Kathie Debenham at (801) 863-7129.
