“Catch Me if You Can” subject Frank Abagnale to Speak at UVSC
Frank Abagnale, the subject of the hit movie “Catch Me if You Can” starring Tom Hanks and Leonardo DiCaprio, will speak at the Big Business and Technology Expo March 10 at the Utah Valley State College McKay Events Center.
Abagnale will present a 45-minute life story lecture and a two-hour fraud prevention seminar, which Tom Hanks calls “the best one-man show you’ll ever see.” The expo is sponsored by the Provo and Orem Chamber of Commerce and presented by BusinessQ and Utah Valley magazines.
The two-day expo will feature other speakers at the Industry Leaders Business Panel on March 9 including Greg Butterfield of Altiris, Brent Brown of Brent Brown Automotive, Hal Wing of Wing Enterprises and Mike Proper of DirectPointe. More than 200 Utah companies are scheduled to exhibit booths.
Tickets for the lectures are $10 and include a Chef’s Table steak and shrimp lunch. Admission to the expo exhibit is free. Abagnale will speak at noon on March 10.
