Feb. 1, 2005: Coming to Utah Valley State College, John Stossel, co-anchor
of ABC's 20/20. The award-winning journalist will first speak at a public
forum on "Ethics in the Media" in UVSC's Computer Science and Engineering
Building CS 404 from 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. The forum will include time for
question and answer.
Immediately following the forum, Stossel will again address students and the public in UVSC's Sorensen Student Center Grande Ballroom from 1 p.m.-2:30 p.m. on "Freedom and its Enemies." Stossel will allow time for question and answer. Both presentations are free and open to the public.
Stossel will be available for media interviews at the conclusion of the ethics forum and immediately following the Ballroom presentation prior to his book signing of "Give Me a Break: How I Exposed Hucksters, Cheats, and Scam Artists and Became the Scourge of the Liberal Media." The publication authored by Stossel will be available for a special price that day in the UVSC Bookstore.
