In communicating the new Utah Valley University (UVU) brand, there will be instances in which it will be appropriate to identify a specific department in conjunction with the new logos. At the same time, it is critical to the brand that this communication be unified. For this purpose, a uniform system for Secondary Marks has been developed. The consistent use and application of this system will help identify and add credibility to the University. Campus entities should not create their own logos. The following order forms are designed to make your secondary mark easy and personal to your organization. Once your order form has been received, the Marketing & Communications department will contact you and send your secondary mark via e-mail within five (5) working days from the date your order is submitted. The look and feel of College and School marks was predetermined in Dean’s Council. The following is an example of what your mark will look like. Please fill in the blanks below to receive a personalized mark for your College or School:
For departments and other campus entities that wish to use the approved secondary mark templates, a variety of formats are available to choose from. Once your department has determined the style it likes best, fill in the blanks below to submit your order and receive a personalized secondary mark for your organization. Note: A single mark should be selected and used on a long-term basis. Academic departments should use the template option that reflects the UVU institutional logo.
